El día 1 de Noviembre de 2005 se desalojó una finca en Portillo, Toledo, con unos 140 perros. Los perros malvivían en un cercado repleto de escombros, chatarra y desperdicios. Eran propiedad de Indalecio, un señor de 75 años, el cual vivía en una furgoneta en la finca. En la recogida de los animales han participado varias asociaciones, acogiendo ANAA la mitad de los perros. El estado de salud de los animales es pésimo.
